Infinity Ward and Activision today revealed the content coming in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4's upcoming beta, and it's quite a lot.
The beta for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 officially kicks off at 11am PT this Friday following the Call of Duty: NEXT presentation. The beta is now officially available for pre-load on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (sorry, Nintendo Switch 2 players. The doesn't hit Switch 2 until next weekend). With all the logistics out of the way, Infinity Ward is finally ready to reveal what content we'll be playing throughout both weekends. Spoiler alert, it's a lot.
In addition to the multiplayer content traditionally available in these betas, the studio is offering a first look at campaign and Warzone. So, strap in, because this will be the largest beta content-wise in franchise history.
Single Player and Warzone
For the first time in franchise history, players will be able to try out the campaign and the new Warzone Resurgence map as part of the beta. Titled 'Entrenched,' the mission sees you fighting alongside friendly infantry and armored vehicles to prevent a hostile takeover of a vital nuclear power station....
