An official press release from Sega mentions something regarding the PS5 version of Persona 6 that narrows down its release window. In fact, it also supports a recent leak suggesting that Persona 6 would release in September 2027.
As fans know, Persona 6 was officially announced at the Xbox Games Showcase earlier this year with an eerie trailer. Unfortunately, the trailer itself does not make a lot of sense (and it probably isn't supposed to). Other than confirming the dominant color of green, the Persona 6 trailer intentionally leaves players with more questions than answers, and seeking the truth has led some fans to an overlooked detail in a press release from earlier this year.
The Persona series is getting a special 30th anniversary release on December 11 to round out its year of celebrations.
The official Sega press release lists Persona 6's core platforms. As is no surprise, Persona 6 is confirmed for Xbox Game Pass (via Xbox Series X/S consoles), PC, and PS5, with no mention of the Switch 2.
