During the Gamescom Opening Night Live, Capcom brought back a familiar face. The company continues to release top tier games and adding to this will be Mega Man: Dual Override. This is the first extended look at the latest Mega Man games that continues the art design from Mega Man 11. This is the twelfth mainline entry in the series, despite not being Mega Man 12 in name. It will be available in 2027 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Microsoft Store. Expanding the Core Concepts of Mega Man
The series has seen expansion dating back to Mega Man 3, where the gameplay was sped up and the slide was introduced along with Rush, the dog. Mega Man 4 saw the Mega Buster Charge that would change gameplay going forward for all Mega Man titles. It also had a hook and a balloon.
