Despite Bethesda being the brains behind some of our all-time favorite games, such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and the Fallout entries, after taking over creative control from Obsidian Entertainment, the studio has come under fire in recent years after leaving fans with a lack of answers over some of its most highly anticipated titles.
After all, the next installment in The Elder Scrolls franchise, The Elder Scrolls VI, was first unveiled way back in 2018 alongside a very brief teaser trailer. Now, eight years later, and even a simple release window has not yet been confirmed, leading many fans to believe that it could still be years away from launch. On top of that, its latest RPG release, Starfield, was considered a flop despite it, and Fallout 76, still receiving updates to this day.
All in all, Bethesda has a lot of groveling to do, but in an attempt to make it up to fans, its head, Todd Howard, recently shared an update on the studio's plans for the future, shining a light on projects we were already aware of, including some that came as a sudden surprise.
