Evil Dead is among the greatest horror franchises of all time, first terrifying audiences with Sam Raimi's original The Evil Dead 45 years ago now in 1981 with the original masterpiece. Made on a famously tiny budget, the film took us to a remote cabin with a group of unsuspecting friends and unleashed a nightmare of demonic Deadites on us in one of the most original and gory supernatural horror experiences of the time.
