It was back in 2013 that Guillermo del Toro flexed his incredible directing skills once more with the launch of Pacific Rim, a military sci-fi and monster film which follows humanity's war against monstrous sea creatures known as the Kaiju. In response, humans must pilot massive robots known as Jaegers to be able to stop their assault, but to do so, its twin pilots need to achieve a mental link and become drift compatible.
Despite receiving positive reviews from critics and the audience alike, its sequel, Pacific Rim Uprising, was not received as well, leaving the sci-fi franchise to be left in the dust over the past decade. Well, the movie franchise may have been left in the dust, but the franchise as a whole is far from over.
Available via Roblox, Pacific Rim: Breach is a game mode which, as you can expect, is inspired by the sci-fi world of Pacific Rim. Created by STUDIO600, the game is currently in its pre-alpha state, but that has not stopped fans from falling in love with the in-game title, which can see players pilot their very own Jaegers.
