Sony Santa Monica Is Working On A New IP, According To Developer

Sony Santa Monica, the studio best known for the God of War series, appears to be working on a new IP. That's at least according to a developer from the studio, who mentions a new project on their LinkedIn page.

As spotted by ResetEra user Angie, a developer at Sony Santa Monica mentions this new IP when detailing their work experience. Here, they say that they were hired by the company relatively recently in order to work on the project, suggesting that a non-God of War-related game is in the works.

This reference to a new IP is found on a LinkedIn profile, with the relevant section reading as follows: "Santa Monica Studios presented the opportunity of coming back as Character Supervisor, looking after the entire Character Development pipeline, on their new IP, so here I am, thrilled to be back, working again with the crew and pushing Characters in videogames together."
