A Grand Theft Auto 6 executive has revealed that the game once featured an immersive mechanic that had to be removed because it could have taken things too far. While most of the discussion surrounding Grand Theft Auto 6 currently focuses on the content featured in its latest gameplay reveal, the things that did not make it into the final version seem to be just as interesting.
This new comment on GTA 6's cut content comes from Rob Nelson, co-studio head of Rockstar North. Nelson and his team hosted an exclusive in-person preview for select content creators and outlets, during which he played the game for a couple of hours and answered questions. One of those invited to the preview was Australian YouTuber TGG, also known as The Gaming Gorilla. He was the one who learned about an immersive GTA 6 feature that the development team ultimately decided to remove.
