With Cyberpunk 2077 catapulting the franchise into stardom, it is hard to believe that it initially began way back in 1988 with the launch of Mike Pondsmith's Cyberpunk TTRPG. As such, the dystopian world is a lot bigger than the CD Projekt RED RPG would have us believe, with years worth of narrative and character development.
