The critically acclaimed Chrono Trigger is making an official comeback in February 2027 with the release of a brand-new line celebrating the game and its characters. This year, Square’s legendary RPG is celebrating its 31st birthday, and while no new games in the series are in sight for now, there are new releases. Earlier in August, Square Enix announced Chrono Trigger: One Mark, a new collection based on the game. The collection is an assembly of gacha keychains featuring all six main characters, as well as a Nu.

However, things aren’t stopping there. According to a new report by Go Nintendo, Square Enix has just announced a brand-new collection focused on Chrono Trigger, also centered around a couple of its playable characters and a Nu. For reference, Nu are the secret blue creatures you find across the entire game if you look in the right place at the right time. The new collection is now available for pre-order, and it’s set to be officially released on February 28, 2027.
