Take-Two Gives New Official Statement on GTA 6 Leaks Investigation

Take-Two Interactive has given another official update on the ongoing GTA 6 leaks investigation. While the widespread leaks for Grand Theft Auto 6 may be over now, publisher Take-Two is still hard at work to identify the source as the investigation ramps up.

Prior to GTA 6's Extended Look on August 27, Rockstar and Take-Two, after years of development, faced the nightmare scenario. A leaker known only as Cyberleek, who appeared to have a fairly recent build of the game in their possession, began posting GTA 6 leaks online on a daily basis. These have since stopped, luckily before giving away story spoilers as many had feared. Despite this, Take-Two remains relentless in its chase to track down the initial source of the leaks.

As reported by Torrent Freak, Take-Two Interactive has officially filed a second subpoena with Discord, following its first earlier in August 2026.
