Overwatch has experimented with numerous spinoffs and infamously canceled game modes in the past, but this year's BlizzCon has seen countless rumors and speculation over what the event could have in store for players, both in terms of brand-new releases or collaborations and long-awaited content updates.
While we already got to see a Le Sserafim skin collaboration and even a tease for a live concert coming to the event, Overwatch's latest announcement has left players completely blindsided. In addition to the new Overwatch Rush mobile shooter game, Overwatch is releasing its first-ever RPG spinoff in the decade since it initially released.
Announced by none other than the official Overwatch X account, Blizzard is releasing a TTPRG adventure titled Questwatch, which you'll be able to watch for yourself live at BlizzCon on September 13. Alongside the announcement also released original fantasy-themed key art featuring Cole Cassidy, voiced by none other than Matthew Mercer, who is set to host the streaming event.
Although we don't know who the four players trying out Questwatch with Matthew Mercer as a DM will be just yet, we're supposedly getting more details on the streamed event and what the TTPRG is itself...
