New LEGO Harry Potter Game Officially Releasing October 2026

The LEGO games really have become a staple part of the industry as a whole, offering a lighter, more comedic take on some of the biggest and best franchises in history. Star Wars remains probably the most notable example of this, but we've also had excellent translations of The Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter along the way that are well worth playing if you're a fan.

The latter successfully adapts all seven of the titular boy wizard's years at school into a blocky format, and the presence of magic really allows the developer to get creative with the game's puzzles, in much the same way as they do with the Force. Now, LEGO Harry Potter is about to return in a big way, and it's hard to believe that its taken this long to make the jump.

Over on Twitter/X, Warner Bros. Games confirmed that The LEGO Harry Potter Collection is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on October 16, 2026. This brings LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 remastered together in one convenient package for the handheld console.
