The sequel to the 2021 open-world survival game Breathedge has entered early access on Steam and has already gained over 80% positive reviews from players. Breathedge has been compared to games like Subnautica, and its sequel, which is currently available on Steam and Epic Games Store, appears to build on the same design philosophy while taking the franchise further into deep space.

The first game also has very positive reviews on Steam and has been among the top choices for fans of single-player, open-world survival games. Interestingly, Breathedge is currently part of the Epic Games Store's weekly freebies, giving fans until September 3 to claim it at no cost.
