As promised, Final Fantasy 7 Revelation was the final game of today's State of Play showcase and came with the big reveal that it's coming on April 8, 2027.
Before the end of last year, absolutely everyone was begging to see the third and final entry in the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy. Following its reveal at last year's Summer Game Fest, though, it feels like we've seen plenty of it and at pretty much every opportunity, with Square releasing tons of information through interviews and new trailers.
In fact, it was only last week during Gamescom Opening Night Live that we last got a good look at Final Fantasy 7 Revelation. That apparently wasn't enough, as an "extended look" at Revelation was one of the only things confirmed for today's State of Play showcase, and boy did it deliver with the long-awaited release date.
