Until Dawn 2 made a surprise appearance at today's State of Play showcase with a new trailer that showed off plenty of new gameplay and a release date of January 27.
When rumours started flying that PlayStation was going to hold a State of Play showcase this month, it was a little tough to imagine what could be there. Intergalactic, God of War Laufey, and something unannounced from one of the big first-party studios seemed like decent bets, but there's not much else that jumps to mind since Sony's future lineup is pretty secretive right now.
One of the only other games that we know about is Until Dawn 2, which was revealed during the last State of Play a few months ago and quickly became one of the standouts of the whole event. That reveal trailer was pretty short overall, though, so the new look that debuted at today's State of Play was definitely appreciated.
