New Final Fantasy 7 Revelation DLC Hints at Obscure Fan Theory

The grand reveal of Final Fantasy VII: Revelation's release date during PlayStation's State of Play livestream early this morning is certainly the talk of the town now.

However, within the hefty lineup of pre-order editions and goodies that are now available, there's something especially interesting that could give the stories behind two of Final Fantasy 7's most poignant and mysterious characters their due justice and potentially lead to some additional, well, revelations.

Final Fantasy 7 Revelation is Getting a Story Expansion Pass

While this was initially overlooked in the trailer reveal during the State of Play livestream, alongside the base game, Final Fantasy VII: Revelation is set to get a Story Expansion Pass. Along with various in-game items for players to use during combat, there will also be not one but two different story DLCs focused on two particular characters - Vincent Valentine and Sephiroth.

Vincent is one of the newer additions to the party roster, only making his dramatic appearance in the latter half of Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth and staying in "guest" status with Cid Highwind up to the game's conclusion.
