A beloved and near-perfect PlayStation 1 classic is officially returning with a release on PlayStation 5, 26 years after its original release in 2000. A lot of older games are making their way onto the PS5 ecosystem as of late. Earlier this year, we got the PS1 classic Geppy-X on PlayStation 5, for instance. The remaster of the title is a courtesy of studio Bliss Brain. Of course, this is just one example. Before that, six classic Rugrats games were added to the modern PlayStation ecosystem, too, via a release by Limited Run Games.
Now, another classic is making its way onto PlayStation 5 consoles, though not in the form of a remaster, remake, or re-release, at least not in the traditional sense. As was reported by Gaming Bible, four games are joining the PlayStation Plus catalog in the near future, and while some of them are more recent releases, one of them is a PS1 classic released back in 2000, which will please fans of the series. The title will arrive on PS Plus this year.
