The 1.1 update for Palworld will introduce a feature that players have been demanding for a while now, Pocketpair has confirmed. The catch, however, is that the developer isn’t yet ready to reveal what that feature is, though it has shared some other details about what Palworld fans can expect from the upcoming patch.
Pocketpair began publicly discussing Version 1.1 in mid-August 2026, when publishing and communications lead John "Bucky" Buckley shared a photo from a "brainstorming session" focused on the game's next major release. He also invited fans to suggest additions they wanted to see. The request, made shortly after Pocketpair released Palworld update 1.0.3, drew around 1,700 responses within a day, prompting Buckley to clarify that ideas such as a new continent or another 20 levels were well beyond the studio's plans for Version 1.1.
