Riot Games Issues New Official Statement on League of Legends MMO

Riot Games has provided an exciting new update on the long-awaited League of Legends MMO, which has been in development for many years now. There is still very little actually known about the new League of Legends game, leaving fans clamoring for any news they can get.

The League of Legends MMO was first announced in late 2020 as a brand-new game set in Runeterra. No official images from the game have emerged to date, and news has come only through the occasional update from Riot Games. It's known that the LOL MMO underwent a significant reset in 2024, after the departure of former Head of Creative Greg Street. However, it's impossible to say how this actually affected the game's planned release window.
