Confirmation of the upcoming release of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time as a remake was met with an enormous amount of excitement from the existing community. Revealed earlier this year, we only got a very brief look at what is going to be like via a short shot of the opening of the game where Link wakes up in his own bed.
Since then, things have been quite quiet, but Nintendo recently broke cover to confirm that a dedicated Nintendo Direct will reveal a lot more about the game, as well as other Zelda projects. That is set to go ahead tomorrow, September 8, and as part of that, we should get a release date to look forward to.
While that official confirmation will be nice, a potential release date has actually already appeared online, and it would make a lot of sense given what we know about the game already.
