Rockstar Games Reveals Big Change to GTA 6 Weapons

Rockstar Games discusses weapon and NPC behaviors in Grand Theft Auto 6, revealing a major change from the previous game in the series that may result in players getting in more trouble if they're not prepared. Since the Extended Look on Netflix, Rockstar Games has been more open about new aspects of GTA 6, giving fans a clearer picture of how some features have evolved or stayed the same.

During Sony's State of Play, the company reveals a new set of PlayStation DualSense controllers in a new collaboration with a major upcoming game.

In an interview with YouTuber TGG, Rockstar North boss Rob Nelson explained how more reactive NPCs are in Grand Theft Auto 6. Nelson confirmed that a lot of work has gone into the "behavioral sophistication" and nuanced elements of NPCs, highlighting the fact that in GTA 5, players were able to pull out weapons like a shotgun and barely get a reaction from the people walking around unless they were then aimed at. However, for this release, the world will react to player behavior and could lead to plenty of encounters with the newly redesigned police system in Grand Theft Auto 6.
