The end of Summer heading into the start of Autumn really does always seem to be one of the most exciting times of the year for gamers. As well as many titles releasing ahead of the Holiday season (to take advantage of all that money people are throwing at each other in the form of gifts), there are also plenty of massive events for fans to attend.
Gamescom is the headline act in August these days, but September is owned and operated by Blizzcon, the longtime convention of mega developer Activision Blizzard. It's a genuinely lovely celebration of games that have brought millions of people together, and the occasion is always marked by plenty of free prizes and rewards, with Diablo IV top of that list this time around.
As first reported by Mobalytics, Blizzard have confirmed exactly what items players can earn for their Diablo IV characters, just by participating in Blizzcon. The headline act is a round of Twitch Drops, with items awarded based on time watching participating channels that stream the game.
