During the Zelda Nintendo Direct, two brand-new Amiibo figures were announced. Both inspired by the upcoming Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, these new Amiibos have unique in-game effects, granting Link new cosmetics.
Nintendo has just unveiled two new Amiibo figures inspired by the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake. These figures, sold separately, depict the remake's version of Young Link and Young Zelda, both of whom are posed sitting on a piece of scenery. While the Link figure is holding its hand out towards Navi, the Zelda figure is holding the eponymous ocarina.
If these new Amiibos are scanned while playing the upcoming Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, they'll grant the player a unique mask to wear in-game. These masks seem to be inspired by the more polygonal look of Link and Zelda in the original Nintendo 64 version of Ocarina of Time.
