Marvel Rivals is still online, as devs push back the shutdown for the closed beta test. This is in order to try out a new "experimental update", and means that players get a few more hours with the game before the beta comes to an end.
While the game was meant to shut down at 3am ET/8am BST, this has now been extended to 9am ET/2pm BST. The update makes a few character changes, bug fixes, and performance improvements, and you can test it out now by logging back into Marvel Rivals.
The first thing you should notice with the update is that logging in is way faster. I'd frequently been stuck on the login page while playing on PlayStation 5, but having tried it out just now, I managed to get in just fine. If you've been experiencing crashes, that should also have been fixed now.
As for the characters, this update is focused on making abilities work as intended, rather than making any last-minute balance changes. Now, Hulk shouldn't be affected by Spider-Man's "Get Over Here" attack while using Indestructible Guard. Storm's ultimate should also have been fixed, as that apparently wasn't...
