Nintendo Direct September 2026 Live Updates: All Announcements & New Game Reveals

9:50AM, Ben - One day after The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct, Nintendo is broadening its scope with a showcase "focused on games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 this winter." Right now, that winter window is looking largely mysterious, so there could be a lot to learn from this Nintendo Direct, and some fans are hoping that rumors of games like a Super Metroid remake or even a new Nintendogs could pan out.
