Monster Hunter Wilds is finally coming to Switch 2 later this year. The action RPG was first released on February 28, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. While the original Switch's hardware likely made running the already-struggling MH Wilds an impossibility, Switch 2 rumors have been circulating for quite a while.
During the September 9 Nintendo Direct, Monster Hunter Wilds confirmed a Switch 2 release date of December 4, 2026. The upcoming Ascendance DLC, set for release on all platforms in 2027, is set to be announced for the Switch 2 at a later date.
