Star Wars: The Old Republic may not be as popular as it once was and may be drowned out by the rise of far more successful MMOs, but it is still regularly pulling in thousands of players and even receiving updates. This isn't terribly surprising considering that it remains a rather excellent game, one that still resembles the hard work BioWare poured into establishing it and the Knights of the Old Republic series that preceded it.
Indeed, it remains one of the few highlights in Star Wars media at the moment, especially amidst the controversies surrounding The Mandalorian and its commercial failure at the box office. It is no surprise, then, that Star Wars is returning to this era with a new release titled Legacy Reborn. The project, designed as part of an ongoing celebration of the Old Republic, is sure to delight fans, especially those with reverence and nostalgia for the iconic MMO.
