Games are certainly the focus, but the celebration doesn't end there, with Nintendo announcing new hardware, amiibo, collectibles, music, and other merchandise tied to The Legend of Zelda. There is clearly going to be no shortage of ways for fans to celebrate the franchise throughout the anniversary.
That makes sense considering just how much history The Legend of Zelda has built up over the past four decades. Nintendo has plenty of games, characters, locations, and items to pull from, giving the company a lot of material to work with for anniversary products. Honestly, the company seems more reserved than some fans perhaps expected.
