Grand Theft Auto 6 is getting close to its long-awaited release, with neither developer Rockstar Games nor publisher Take-Two Interactive having said much about GTA 6 Online, but court documents may have leaked an in-development feature of the game. The companies have been insistent that GTA 6 is a single-player game, but whenever it comes out, fans know that an Online component is certainly happening. Still, while Rockstar has now shown plenty of GTA 6's world, characters, and gameplay through its trailers and other official marketing, the future of multiplayer remains almost completely unknown.

Of course, Rockstar's focus right now is on launch, not what comes for GTA 6 beyond November 2026. Fans simply have to wait and be patient, but those curious about its multiplayer may have inadvertently received a little confirmation. In short, documents submitted by Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive in an ongoing legal dispute may have accidentally provided one small piece of information about the game's multiplayer.
