With fourteen major installments under its belt, it is no wonder that some Assassin's Creed entries are regarded better than others. Some may claim that the Ezio trilogy still holds that gold star, with entries such as Assassin's Creed Unity still being remembered with a bitter taste in the mouth due to its issues at launch. However, when it comes to Assassin's Creed Origins, the tenth mainline installment in the Ubisoft franchise, many of us can agree that it remains an underrated gem.

First launched back in 2017, Assassin's Creed Origins took players to Ancient Egypt during the reign of Cleopatra. It follows the story of Bayek of Siwa, a Medjay who teams up with his wife to seek revenge against the murder of their son. During this time, they establish the Assassin Brotherhood, as well as beginning the ongoing feud with the Templar Order.
