The first sign of Xbox's answer to PlayStation's Platinum Trophy may be hiding in Gears of War: E-Day, thanks to a mysterious achievement that awards no Gamerscore for earning every other achievement. Gears of War: E-Day is The Coalition's upcoming prequel starring Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago during the first days of the Locust invasion.
The Coalition has now revealed the full achievement list for Gears of War: E-Day, covering everything from the campaign and co-op to Horde Siege, Versus, collectibles, and long-term progression. Players have already had a chance to sample some of Gears of War: E-Day's multiplayer through its recent beta, including the new Horde Siege mode and returning Versus competition. Some of the requirements will demand a significant investment, including 25,000 Versus kills, 50,000 Horde Siege kills, reaching the final Re-Up, reaching max level with all four Horde Siege classes, and completing the campaign on Insane difficulty. That already makes Gears of War: E-Day look like a demanding completion for achievement hunters before taking its strangest reward into account.
