Miami's GTA 6 Makeover Is Officially Underway, Except It Can't Say GTA

Grand Theft Auto 6’s heavily contested Miami marketing campaign appears to have already started being prepped after getting approved earlier this week.

Considering GTA 6 is already the most-anticipated video game of all time and something that pretty much everyone knows about, you could make the case that it doesn’t need to be advertised at all beyond the trailers. As the Extended Reveal proved last month, though, marketing certainly isn’t hurting the game’s chances.

As was reported a few weeks ago, Rockstar and Take-Two were looking to go one step further and transform Miami into a real-world Vice City with some grand plans for a few key locations. Miami officials were initially opposed to the campaign, but approved it with a few stipulations, which appears to have allowed things to already be in motion.

Despite the plans having only been approved in the last few days with some notable changes to the original vision, it seems that Take-Two is already working to get it out there. As pointed out by dex3108 on ReseEra, Twitter user OfficialJoelF managed to get an aerial shot of a sign from the GTA 6 marketing campaign being set up behind Kaseya...
