BlizzCon 2026 is currently underway as I type this, and while there hasn't been an official announcement, aside from an animated Diablo series coming to Netflix, it appears that retail stores are jumping the gun on a shadowdrop.
An eagle-eyed Redditor spotted a Nintendo Switch 2 edition of Diablo IV and its two expansions, Vessel of Hatred and Lord of Hatred, available for purchase.
Another Redditor noticed that Nintendo Switch 2 is an official sponsor of BlizzCon. Given that Diablo III was available for the original Nintendo Switch, this isn't much of a surprise.
We'll be sure to update whenever Diablo IV on Nintendo Switch 2 is official. I mean, we live in a world where Heroes of the Storm is getting a new character in 2026, and Blizzard teased even more possible content in the future. Clearly, anything is possible.
More as it develops.
