Blizzard has officially confirmed a brand-new class being added to Diablo 4 in 2027, teasing the return of the Amazon class from Diablo 2. Diablo 4, and the dungeon crawler franchise as a whole, was one of Blizzard's biggest focuses on the first day of BlizzCon.
BlizzCon saw an exciting Day 1 for many of Blizzard's most popular games, filled with a plethora of major announcements. Heroes of the Storm was confirmed to be adding its first new Hero in nearly six years, officially revealing World of Warcraft antagonist Xal'atath for the end of September. Overwatch not only unveiled Doctrine as the next playable character being added to the hero shooter, but also announced that fans can claim a free Mythic Skin just by completing an in-game match before early October. Now, Diablo 4 is next in line with a popular class from an older game officially returning to the franchise.
