Star Trek: Voyager Is Giving Us An All New Story In Fall 2026

Sadly, Star Trek: Voyager has been off the air for many years now, having run from 1995 to 2001. Its iconic storyline featured Captain Kathryn Janeway and her crew, stranded thousands of light-years away from home, and introduced many beloved characters and moments to the Star Trek universe.

Although their televised stories may not be continuing in the traditional sense, last winter Voyager made an epic return. Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown is a roguelite survival strategy video game that has earned an 8.1 User Score on Metacritic. The game has been praised for giving players freedom of choice, with every diplomatic decision influencing the course of the story. Players are put in command of the U.S.S. Voyager with all the dangers that come with it.

While the base game generally takes just between 15 and 20 hours to complete, the team behind Across the Unknown has four planned DLCs in the works, which can be purchased together through the game's expansion pass. The first of these DLCs, Delta Chronicles, is out now, with the second, Equinox, planned to release on October 1, 2026.
