Crimson Desert Delays DLC Launch for a 'More Polished and Stable Experience'

Since the game was released back in March earlier this year, Crimson Desert proved its many skeptics wrong and broke the seemingly endless curse of gratuitously funded and developed open-world RPGs being dead on arrival.

The team at Pearl Abyss has gone above and beyond to give players a truly immersive, vibrant, and dynamic experience, and the adventure is about to get even bigger with its upcoming Charting the Unknown DLC.

However, it turns out that Greymanes everywhere will have to wait just a bit longer for this new chapter in Kliff's story, per a new update from Pearl Abyss.

Charting the Unknown Delayed to Late October

Earlier today, the development team at Pearl Abyss provided an update on the status of Crimson Desert's first major DLC expansion since the game got its 'Enhanced Edition' glow-up. Originally intended to release in mid-October, the 'Charting the Unknown' DLC has now been pushed back two weeks to October 29, 2026.
