Released back in 2025 as a remake of 2004's Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater was a return to form for the Metal Gear Solid franchise, marking the first major entry in the series since 2018's Metal Gear Survive.
It may not have received the same amount of love as some of the classics, but considering that Konami Digital Entertainment took over the development of the game with help from Virtuos, it went on to receive relatively positive reviews, with the team choosing to remake Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater due to its important origin story of some of the franchise's most important characters.
