Nexus introduces a new technofantasy corner of the Dice Throne universe, bringing an entirely new setting and roster of Heroes while remaining compatible with the characters players already know. Four new Heroes are planned for the campaign, and Dice Throne has now revealed the first: Snyper.
Snyper is a run-and-gun assassin built around a unique self-mill mechanic. She can ricochet bullets off the top of her deck, converting a card’s cost into damage. Her Intel tokens add another layer to the mechanic by allowing players to place a card on top of the deck, setting up exactly what Snyper needs for her next shot.
It sounds like a particularly interesting direction for Dice Throne, giving Snyper a playstyle centered around manipulating her deck rather than simply relying on the roll of the dice.
