This week is one of the biggest of the year with back-to-back releases of Control Resonant and Konami's latest horror entry with Silent Hill: Townfall, leaving little room for much else to stand out. While both these titles are already receiving plenty of attention as two of September's most anticpated games, another completely unexpected title has managed to surpass both of them in sales ahead of release, as spotted by GamesRadar.
While these numbers are likely to change after Control Resonant and Silent Hill: Townfall officially go live, this Steam game has still managed to amass an impressive 96% positive review score to earn it the relatively rare "Overwhelmingly Positive" review score on Steam.
While it's a massive shift away from the more gritty triple-a experiences offered by the two gaming giants, the incredibly intricate gameplay mechanics and cozy storytelling experience offered by Dressmaker has been getting plenty of acclaim already, even managing to surpass SIlent Hill: Townfall's early review scores.
