Evo Singapore has released a new trailer hyping up what is coming when the event takes place from January 15-17, 2027.
As Evo’s first-ever event in Southeast Asia, it already sounds like the inaugural Singapore event could be a doozy. Since the expansion was first announced, the official game lineup had yet to be revealed, but that finally changed this week with five main tournament titles confirmed for the event.
Tekken 8 will have a slightly different presence at Evo Singapore 2027, as there will not be a traditional Evo open bracket for the game. Instead, the tournament will serve as the Last Chance Qualifier for the Tekken World Tour 2026 Global Finals, with the winner earning the final spot in the championship bracket.
The Tekken World Tour Global Finals will also take place alongside Evo Singapore from January 14-17, making this the first time the competitive Tekken season will conclude at an official Evo event.
