Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve is off the runway following its launch on Steam, with the new entry posting the strongest launch numbers in franchise history. According to SteamDB, the game reached an all‑time peak of 52,662 concurrent players this morning. The 24‑hour peak sits at nearly the same number, showing a surge of interest just a few days after release. It's one that does not seem to be slowing down as pilots make their way through the campaign and into online mode.
