The Legend of Zelda franchise has stacked up plenty of iconic games over the years, and a new collection is set to celebrate entries from across the course of the series. The original The Legend of Zelda launched in 1986, making this the 40th anniversary of the IP and lending an extra dose of excitement to all the new releases coming this year.
While North American audiences didn't get a peek at this new release in the September 2026 The Legend of Zelda Direct, the European broadcast included a little extra. A brief screen showed a box called The Legend of Zelda: Master Collection from Italian brand Panini, known for its collectible trading cards along with plenty of other entertainment products.
The official Panini UK & Ireland X account shared a better look at the image displayed in the Nintendo Direct, which shows off a Master Collection box, four trading cards, and an album to store collected cards in. The post simply notes that the Master Collection boasts "visuals from The Legend of Zelda series" and asks fans to "stay tuned" for more details.
