Fans have been wondering when they'd get their next taste of the Assassin's Creed series following the successful release of Black Flag Resynced earlier this year. Now, thanks to Assassin's Creed: Heredis, fans have their answer, with a brand-new release officially confirmed for December 2026.
The Assassin's Creed franchise has been a Ubisoft flagship for nearly two decades. Its popularity has allowed it to transcend the video game industry, with projects across numerous mediums. Novels, comics, a movie - there's even a live-action Assassin's Creed Netflix series on the way. But there's one medium Assassin's Creed has never previously tried, until Heredis.
Ubisoft officially confirms that an Assassin's Creed game is permanently shutting down in January 2027.
Tickets are available now for Assassin's Creed: Heredis, a new stage show set in the AC universe. It brings an entirely new Assassin's Creed story to the stage, following Naël, who traverses numerous historical eras as he seeks out his father. The show features 17 performers who "combine acrobatics, urban parkour, choreographed combat, and physical feats within immersive environments from Assassin’s Creed video games" in a 2-hour performance.
