Magic: The Gathering Quietly Adds Jaw-Dropping Combo to Win in 3 Turns

Magic: The Gathering's new Reality Fracture set introduces a mind-blowing 3-turn combo that wins the game on the spot. Wizards of the Coast's TCG can be as much about collecting cool cards and playing relaxed games every now and then as it can be about making vicious combos work to defeat one's opponents and catch them off guard. This has always been the case, ever since the first set was released in 1993, but modern Magic: The Gathering makes both ends of the spectrum more enjoyable and accessible.

With many new cards, interesting takes on existing characters and locations, and a whole new set of Echoverse "Strixhaven" schools, the newest set in the game is already a success. And yet, Magic: The Gathering's Reality Fracture ends a 20-year era by killing off the iconic face of the game, the Blue planeswalker Jace Beleren, now turned antagonist. Even though Reality Fracture just came out two days ago, fans are already finding new ways to play established decks or, in some cases, make entirely new combos with effective win conditions.
