When it comes to high fantasy novel series, Brandon Sanderson is perhaps one of the greatest of all time. Over the years, the author has penned over ten distinct series across his major universes, with the Mistborn franchise being one of the most iconic.
The Mistborn saga, which has been split into four eras set across different time periods, began back in 2006, and is still ongoing to this day. As part of Sanderson's Cosmere universe, Mistborn follows the story of Allomancers, individuals that can consume metal in order to wield magical powers.
