CD Projekt Red Outlines Upcoming The Witcher 3 Remastered Visual And Performance Improvements

The Witcher 3 Remastered isn't quite the upgrade that many were hoping for. While it's true that the game contains many improvements upon the original, the title is reportedly plagued with visual and performance problems, which are apparently so frequent that the game's Steam rating took a pretty big hit on release.

Thankfully, it's not another Cyberpunk 2077 situation, and the game is fully playable and enjoyable for a lot of people, and CD Projekt Red has been working pretty quickly to try and push out visual and performance improvements via updates to the game. It released the game's first update at the start of the month, and now it's already revealed its plans for the next one.

CD Projekt Red outlines everything that's coming in this update in the next update via its official Twitter account, and that includes those all-important "visual adjustments" and "performance improvements", with special work done on the PS5 version of the game.

While The Witcher 3 Remastered is on track to become one of the best RPGs of 2026, this setting is still holding back the experience.
