The Witcher 3 Remastered has barely had time to settle into its new home, but CD Projekt Red is already preparing to make some pretty important changes to the game. While the remastered version has attracted plenty of players since launch and even managed to surpass the original game's player-count records, not everyone has been having the smooth return to the Continent they were hoping for.
Some performance problems have been one of the biggest complaints so far, particularly among PlayStation players, such as framerate drops, general lag, sudden crashes, and other technical hiccups. Thankfully, the Polish developer has now confirmed that they are ready to hunt down these few monsters left!
PS5 Performance Is Getting Some Attention
In a new post shared on X (formerly Twitter), CD Projekt Red provided a quick update on some of the changes currently being developed for The Witcher 3 Remastered. The first item on the list should be particularly welcome news for anyone playing on PlayStation, as the studio confirmed that it is working on “further performance improvements, particularly on PS5.”
