YouTuber Globku recently got another chance to go hands-on with Gundam Rogue Orbit after being invited to Bandai Namco’s Europe’s headquarters, and this time the focus wasn’t just on smashing Apocalypse creatures. His latest gameplay video provides our best look yet at how players will actually customize their Gundam before heading into missions, including weapons, individual body parts, thrusters, AP Units, colors, and more. No, I’m a tad bit envious or jealous.
Of course, I made sure to watch his video multiple times to get as much info from it as possible, so I can pass it along to you, but mostly for me.
At the center of Gundam Rogue Orbit’s customization system is Assembly, where players can swap the various pieces that make up their Gundam. However, you won’t simply be able to equip all of the strongest parts you find. Each component has an Output cost, effectively giving every Gundam an energy budget that players must stay under before they can launch into a mission.
If you’ve been waiting to find out more about the customization system, be sure to thank Globku for this very informative video.
That makes the system feel very similar to the MechWarrior...
