Marvel Rivals Is Getting a 50-Player PvE Battle Against Thanos As Part Of Season 10.5

Marvel Rivals is getting a massive new PvE mode on October 22, 2026, and it will throw 50 players into a battle against Thanos and his army. That alone makes this one of the most interesting things NetEase Games has announced for the game in a while.

Creative Director Guangguang revealed the new mode during the latest Marvel Rivals Dev Vision video, where the team showed off what’s coming as part of the Path to Doomsday storyline. Unlike the game’s usual PvP-focused events, this one is leaning into the kind of large-scale superhero chaos you’d expect from Avengers: Endgame.

Players will start at the ruined Avengers Compound before joining forces against Thanos and his army. The setup is clearly meant to echo the final battle from Avengers: Endgame, with dozens of heroes coming together for one massive fight.

Outside of that, NetEase hasn’t provided much information about how the mode will actually work. We don’t know how long matches will last, how objectives will be structured, whether players can freely select any hero, or if Thanos himself will function like some massive raid boss.
